Dawn Adrian is an Education Manager at the SDG Academy where she oversees the massive open online courses on sustainable development. Prior to joining SDSN, Dawn held several positions in Teach For Malaysia where her work focussed on learning loss and low-bandwidth solutions for Malaysian students during the pandemic. Dawn graduated in 2023 with an M.S.Ed degree from the University of Pennsylvania in International Education Development, where she was a Yayasan Khazanah Scholar for Sustainable Development. During her studies, Dawn had the opportunity to work at UNESCO Paris with the SDG2030 Inclusive and Gender Equality team.
Dawn’s research interest lies in the intersection between education, economics and its relations to global indigenous populations. She lends her interest to her own experience navigating her indigenous identity and growing up in the international education scene - where she was exposed to the transformative impact of education.
