SDSN Indonesia mobilizes its members and leverages their strengths to help realize the SDGs through:  

Education

Providing quality education on the SDGs by actively connecting the community with global educators, and sharing valuable resources, opportunities, and projects related to the SDGs.


Enhancing skills, understanding, and experience on the SDGs by engaging the community to participate in SDGs education program on the national, regional, and global scales.


Contributing to the development of knowledge on the SDGs by promoting publications and research collaboration for sustainable development.


Awareness and Engagement

Government Approach - Integrating government in the dialogue, programs, and research related to the SDGs in order to support them in understanding and addressing the challenges of SDGs implementation.


Civil Society Organization Approach - Involving CSOs in the SDGs related programs, as well as providing them with knowledge-resources based on the SDGs, and encouraging them to support the implementation of the SDGs in their respective locations.


Business Approach - Sharing opportunities with businesses to strengthen their commitment to the SDGs by collaborating with various stakeholders.


Community Approach - Improving the awareness and capacity of the community on the SDGs by providing support such as training programs and access to online educational materials and courses through the SDG Academy.

Solutions

Promoting practical Solutions Initiatives by sharing research, teaching materials, and programs featured in the Global Solutions Forum.


Accelerating problem-solving for sustainable development at the local and national level by connecting SDG experts in Indonesia.


Supporting long-term pathways for sustainable development by encouraging collaboration and multi-stakeholder partnerships.

    Following the success of our previous workshop for the Local Government of Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia in collaboration with the Semai Research and Sumedang Regency, SDSN Southeast Asia is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with the local government of Sumedang Regency. Together, we are working to provide a comprehensive analysis of the region's development through the formulation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and long-term pathways analysis for the government of Sumedang Regency. This initiative aims to guide 26 sub-districts across 270 villages over the next 20 years towards sustainable development.

    SDSN Indonesia and SDSN Youth Indonesia hosted a national competition for solutions under the youth track of the Southeast Asia and Indonesia Solutions Forum (SAISF). The SAISF is a new initiative by SDSN Southeast Asia and SDSN Indonesia focused on empowering national and regional networks in the region, to effectively localize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative solutions. The SAISF was inspired by SDSN’s Global Solutions Forum (GSF) and The Asia-Pacific Solutions Forum (APSF).
