Gautham Varada Narayan is functioning as a Network Manager at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network with the Asia-Pacific team at Kuala Lumpur. Gautham completed his Bachelors in Social Sciences from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India. He then went on to pursue his Master of Science in Innovation, Human Development and Sustainability from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.

He is the co-founder of a Swiss-based NGO that works on the theme of migrant and refugee education called Lil STEPs. He has over several years of work experience in the field of sustainable education, human rights and entrepreneurship; working with organizations such as Swiss Learning Exchange and the Regional Government of Santiago, Chile. Gautham has also served in past as the Chief Editor of SDGzine- international magazine on SDG innovation and functioned as an Advocate and Mentor for the Global Schools Program, SDSN-Youth. He has been invited as a delegate for international conferences such as the Future Leader Congress and TJIY Leadership Conference. He was invited as a distinguished panelist for the UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research) Global Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship 2023.
