Isabela is a Project Manager in the Networks team at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), where she manages three EU-funded projects focused on skills, urban transitions, and climate action: BuildSkills Academy, CARMINE, and JustInClime. She also supports the UNICO project and the development of new proposals focused on advancing sustainable development in Europe and beyond. Her work spans project coordination, stakeholder engagement, communications, and knowledge exchange.
Isabela also represents the SDSN on the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee, where she acts as its Communications Officer, contributing to improving the Committee's communication efforts with NGOs in official partnership with the UNESCO Secretariat. She also coordinates its Youth Working Group, bringing together young representatives from civil society organisations around education, sustainability, and youth participation.
Before joining the SDSN, Isabela worked on sustainable development communication at the OECD Development Communication Network, supporting research and engagement across OECD member and partner countries.
Originally from Brazil, Isabela is particularly interested in the intersection of sustainable development, climate action, skills and education, and the role of international cooperation and multistakeholder partnerships in advancing the SDGs. She holds an Master's degree in International Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) and dual undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Economics from FACAMP.
