Amirah joined the SDSN Secretariat in 2021 and is based in the Kuala Lumpur office as Senior Manager for National and Regional Networks where she oversees all networks in the Asia-Pacific region, serving as their Secretariat Focal Point. She is also a community Manager for SDSN Mobilize and a member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee at SDSN.
Amirah was formerly co-manager of SDSN Malaysia for two years when she was with the Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development based at Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur, where her work mainly focused on outreach, education and research for the SDGs.
Amirah holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Management from Monash University, Australia and a Business Degree in International Hotel Management from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Australia.
