SDSN Mediterranean mobilizes its members and leverages their strengths to help realize the SDGs through:  

Education

Organization and promotion of the Siena International School on Sustainable Development in collaboration with SDSN, SDSN Europe and other networks.


Student and adult education through the dissemination of SDG Academy MOOCs, in particular "Sustainable Food Systems: a Mediterranean Perspective."


Promotion of initiatives, papers, and scientific materials at Mediterranean Universities' campuses via SDSN Youth.

Awareness and Engagement

Institutional awareness through the annual publication of the "Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean Report" and the engagement of the main institutional networks of the Mediterranean region.


Community awareness through the dissemination of research results, social media campaigns on the SDGs and other topics on sustainability in the Mediterranean region.

Solutions

The "Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean" report as a tool for stimulating science-policy interface dialogues.


The "Prima Observatory on Innovation" platform: a repository of projects, innovations and companies focused on sustainable use of water, sustainable agriculture and sustainable agri-food value chains.
