SDSN Andes mobilizes its members and leverages their strengths to help realize the SDGs through:  

Education

Implementing the SDGs at knowledge institutions, based on the “Getting Started with the SDGs in Universities” guide.

Promoting pedagogical materials from the SDG Academy and SDG Academy Library.


Leveraging experts' knowledge to support sustainable development programs and activities to train future leaders in the Andean Region.

Awareness and Engagement

Promoting critical thinking through a quarterly publication that features global thought leaders.

Disseminating statistics and information on SDG implementation and best practices via online information platforms.

Developing events that promote an open dialogue between different sectors of society on the challenges facing the Andean Region.

Solutions

Devising and implementing value chain solutions for sustainable and resilient agri-food systems in the region.

Analyzing SDG interactions, tradeoffs, and spillover effects to advance strategies towards sustainable consumption and production.

Creating multi-stakeholder projects that bring low-carbon solutions to enhance ecosystems protection and reduce poverty and inequality.
