SDSN Bangladesh mobilizes its members and leverages their strengths to help realize the SDGs through:  

Education

Institutional level: Engaging various institutions through a periodic exchange of dialogue and discourses at the network's universities and their student bodies.


Youth engagement: Mobilizing youth at institutional levels through interactive and engaging advocacy aligned with the SDGs – at university and college levels.


Community level: Disseminating knowledge pertaining to the 2030 Agenda at the community level through active engagement and dialogue at events organized by SDSN.

Awareness and Engagement

Institutional advocacy and awareness through discussions, campaigns, and multi-institutional engagement.


Private and public sector awareness of the 2030 Agenda using a multi-stakeholder approach.


Raising community awareness through youth and institutional mobilization.

Solutions

Awareness-raising by dedicating resources to inform on the SDGs among the local population to offer a well-informed and robust solution-oriented approach to development.


Dissemination: the population, particularly the youth of Bangladesh, needs access to key information on techniques to achieve the SDGs and their overall value.


Mobilizing institutions to invoke a sense of responsibility by incorporating their knowledge and expertise into technical and sustainable roadmaps for development.

On September 4, 2022, SDSN Bangladesh’s host institution, the Institute for Policy, Advocacy, and Governance (IPAG), organized a day-long G20 International Conference on “G20 and AI: Connecting the dotted lines between technology and humanity” in Bali, Indonesia – A T20 side-event. This event was supported by SDSN Indonesia’s Udayana University student volunteers. In attendance were a panel of experts in the field of technology, AI and economics, among others.

This event was co-organized by the host institutions of SDSN China Hub and SDSN Hong Kong SAR, the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SDG Institute) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) respectively. Sponsored by Pernod Ricard China, this event took place in the Auditorium Hall of the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University.
